Euromarker / solvent yellow 124

The Solvent Yellow 124 fabric is popularly called EuroMarker. According to EU legislation, this fuel dye must be used in excise-free fuels. According to this legislation, the concentration of the Euromarker in excise-free fuels must be 6 to 9 milligrams per liter.

In addition to the Euromarker, any country in the EU is allowed to add other dyes according to national legislation. A common dye used for this is red dye.

In the Benelux, France and Germany and a large number of other countries in the EU, red dye is used in addition to the Euromarker. In addition to the Euromarker, other dyes are also used in Europe.
